Manchester junior Rae Bedke was named to the Class 2A All-State cross country team by the Indiana Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches on Monday. Warsaw’s Mia Beckham and Zeb Hernandez were named honorable mention to the Class 4A team. “Rae is a first time cross country runner and set our school record this season at conference in 19:26,” said Manchester coach Jody Sarber via e-mail. “She fought an injury early in the season but came back strong and had a good season. “Rae has a great attitude and does anything a coach asks. We are proud of her.’ Manchester Athletic Director Jeremy Markham said “it is a very deserving honor for Rae; with the amount of work and dedication that she has put into the sport in just her first year of running cross country.”
