There have only been a handful of times in the last 230 years that ordinary citizens have banded together to alter the path of our nation. These moments, these triumphs have earned us a mark on our nation's noble timeline.Nov. 4 2008, was one of those days my friends and Hoosiers, along with millions of other ordinary citizens across the country, made it happen. Our country, our world will never be the same.
We have ended an era and began a new chapter in the American story. A story about opportunity, faith, love, peace and hope. We earned our mark on America's timeline, and when future generations look back on this day, they will see that it was defined by three simple, beautiful words filled with possibility: Yes, we did.
