Beaman To Host 4th Annual Event Celebrating Survivor Successes

Beaman will host its fourth annual Angels of Hope Event.
During the event, Beaman will share how they provide education, awareness, and preventative resources to the community about domestic violence and sexual assault in addition to emergency shelter for those in need.
This year, Beaman also will host a panel of guest speakers including long-time Beaman volunteer and Board member Denny Cripe, Beaman’s mental health counselor, April Slone, along with two domestic violence survivors who have succeeded utilizing Beaman services.
The event will be Feb. 18 at Winona Heritage Room, 901 Park Ave., Winona Lake. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
All are invited to attend; however, tickets must be purchased in advance by Feb. 10 on the Beaman web page at www.thebeamanhome.com under News & Events. Tickets are $40 per person, $75 per couple or $350 for a reserved table (seats eight).
All attendees are asked to bring cleaning supplies, toilet paper or diapers for the residents of Beaman. For each item given, donor will be given one additional raffle ticket. Raffle tickets may be purchased throughout the event as well. Dinner will be provided by One Ten Craft Meatery – Warsaw and a drink from the bar is included in the ticket price. A cash bar will also be available during the event. The evening will conclude with a live auction of sports memorabilia.
