Barry Andrew Announces Candidacy For Winona Lake Town CouncilWINONA LAKE - Barry Andrew announced he filed for Winona Lake Town Council Ward 4 in the upcoming election.

Andrew, the Kosciusko County Community Corrections director, announced his candidacy for the Winona Lake Town Council Ward 4 seat being vacated by Heather James.

“Service has always been the model in our family. From my grandfather that served on the Warsaw Town Council and to my uncle Randy Polston, serving this community is an honor and privilege I want to continue through the Winona Lake Town Council,” said Andrew.

“In addition,” he continued, “Winona has given our family so much over the years.  We, as a family, want to see Winona continue to grow and thrive and have the impact on future generations like it had for our family.”

A native of the Warsaw/Winona Lake area, Andrew received his undergraduate degree from Grace College in 1998 and earned his master’s degree in business administration, also from Grace College, in 2012. He resides with his wife, Joye, and five kids in ward 4 of Winona Lake.

Andrew said, “The growth in Winona Lake over the last years has been exciting.  From the trail system to Limitless Park, and now the Miller Sunset Pavilion - a lot of hard work has been put into our community. I want to continue to support this mission, but also help, support and continue growth in Winona Lake.”
