A barn belonging to Maxiene Cole at 3768 E. CR 450S, near Pierceton, was destroyed by fire Thursday evening. Pierceton Fire Department received a call about the fire at 6:10 p.m. The call reportedly came from John S. Stull, who lived near the barn. Fifteen Pierceton firefighters were at the scene until 8:20 p.m. Winona Lake Fire Department assisted. Details were unavailable at press time. No loss amount for the barn was available.
