MILFORD – Barbara Place, 75, died Jan. 11, 2013, in Greencroft Gables, due to complications of a broken hip. She was born May 20, 1937, in Milford, to Noble and Hazel Adams Johnson. On April 20, 1957, she married Alfred Place, who died March 12, 1973. She was a homemaker. Survivors include daughters, Pamela (and spouse Kevin) Dwyer, Milford, and Lisa (and spouse Pat) Hare, Goshen; a grandson; two brothers, Darrel Johnson, Arizona, and Kenny (and spouse Shirley) Johnson, Syracuse; and a sister, Carolyn Welker, Milford. Services will be at 5 p.m. Monday at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford, with Pastor Harlan Steffen officiating. Burial will be in Milford Cemetery.
