URBANA, Ill. - Barbara P. Schultz, 77, of 1813 Willow View Drive, Urbana, Ill., and formerly of Tippecanoe Lake, Leesburg, died at 12:30 p.m. CST Nov. 8, 2007, in Carle Hospital, Urbana.
She was born May 3, 1930, in Clarendon Hills, Ill., to Henry W. and Gladys P. Peters. On April 28, 1951, she married Richard "Dick" E. Schultz Sr., who died Dec. 29, 2001.
She was a homemaker who loved crossword puzzles, bowling, golf, sewing and all kinds of crafts. She was a die-hard Cubs fan, Chicago Bears fan and Illinois Illini fan. She was a former volunteer for the Red Cross and the Animal Shelter, as well as an EMT in Florida. She attended First United Methodist Church, Urbana.
Surviving are two daughters, Peggy (and spouse Jim) Clelland, Litchfield, Ill., and Karen (and spouse Paul) Przybyla, Monee, Ill.; a son, Richard "Rick" E. (and spouse Sandy) Schultz Jr., Warsaw; five grandchildren: Andy Przybyla, Monee; Shelley (and spouse Andrew) Schmidt, Columbia City; Richard "Rick" E. Schultz III, Warsaw; and Katie and Craig Clelland, both of Litchfield; and a brother, H. William "Bill" (and spouse Ellen) Peters, Yarmouth Port, Mass. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. CST Friday at First United Methodist Church, Urbana, with Dr. John Sims officiating.
