NAPERVILLE, Ill. — Barbara L. Tessicini, 87, a resident of TaborHills in Naperville, Ill., passed away Sept. 16, 2018.
She was born Jan. 21, 1931, in Warsaw.
Barbara is survived by her loving children: Gregory (Debra), Rodney (Donna) and Rick Amos; her cherished grandchildren: Dana (Marc) Flamini, Stacy (fiancé Michael) Amos, Jason Amos, Brandon (Susan) Amos and Erik (Kirsten) Amos; and her four adored great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Romeo Tessicini; her parents, Donald Curtis and Omah Stackhouse; and her sisters, Sheila Hodges and Janet Roberts.
Barb grew up in Warsaw and graduated from Warsaw High School. She moved to Pensacola, Fla., in 1970 and enjoyed over 30 years in the sunshine.
Throughout her life she maintained a unique sense of humor. She lived each and every day for her family and will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
A memorial visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Barrencas National Cemetery, Pensacola.
