Barbara Jean Claxton, 66, of Warsaw, died July 9, 2007, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Aug. 11, 1940, in Akron, to Estel and Catherine Towne Crall. On Aug. 2, 1958, in Warsaw, she married Garold L. Claxton, who died Jan. 13, 1990.
She was a mold maker at Warsaw Foundry for 28 years and was a member of Salvation Army.
Surviving are her mother, Catherine Crall, Rochester; her mother-in-law, Mary Claxton, Fort Wayne; three daughters, Mrs. Mark (Connie) Overdeer and Carolyn and Penny Claxton, all of Columbia City; two sons, Randy Claxton, Pana, Ill., and Roger Claxton, Columbia City; two sisters, Mrs. Laddie (Sue) Helser, Warsaw, and Diane Bieganski, Kowlesville, N.Y.; a brother, Richard Crall, Rochester; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Capt. Jody Dalberg officiating. Burial will be in Athens Cemetery.
