Barbara Inez Drudge, 75, Warsaw passed away at 1:50 p.m. Oct. 31, 2013, at her residence after a long illness.
She was born Oct. 9, 1938, in Knoxville, Tenn., to Howard and Lottie Staniffer M. Earl, both of whom preceded her in death. On Oct. 3, 1960, in Clintwood, Va., she was united in marriage to Donald Dean Drudge, who survives.
She was employed as a welder by Sun Metal in both Warsaw and North Manchester for more than 25 years. For many years, she enjoyed bowling on various Warsaw leagues, traveling around and camping with her family and playing cards with lifelong friends at the Pierceton American Legion where she was a member of the auxiliary for 29 years. She always enjoyed an evening of playing bingo with her sister and daughter.
Also surviving are a daughter, Deborah (and spouse Ronny) Shelton, Warsaw, Indiana; a son, Darl D. Drudge, Warsaw; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Arville and Frank Earl, both of Warsaw, four sisters: Annebelle Lambert, Flint, Mich.; Mary Markley and Lucille Mullins, both of White Pigeon, Mich.; and Francis Cormican, Kingsford Heights. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Elbert Earl.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Bob Jarboe officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton
Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
