AKRON – Barbara E. Haines, 69, Roann, died at 4:58 p.m. Dec. 7, 2015, at her residence. She was born May 28, 1946, in Rochester, to Edward and Glendon D. Pontius Hancock. On June 19, 1965, she married Larry O. Haines, who survives in Roann. She was a bankteller and homemaker. She was a 1964 graduate of North Miami High School. Also surviving are two daughters, three sons and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. At her request, private family services were held.
