BOURBON - Barbara Dawn Slaybaugh, 57, of 115 N. Walnut St., Etna Green, died at 11:27 a.m. Feb. 11, 2008, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, after an illness.
She was born Oct. 10, 1950, in LaPorte, to Dean M. and Gladys Zahn Knapp. On Nov. 11, 1967, she married John Slaybaugh, who survives.
She lived in the Etna Green area most of her life and was a homemaker.
Also surviving are four children: John F. Slaybaugh Jr., Etna Green; Jay A. Slaybaugh, Bremen; Dawn R. Vogler, Lakeville; and Bruce Nelson, Cincinnati, Ohio; a sister, Carol (and spouse Lloyd) Shrouse, Fort Wayne; and a brother, Richard (and spouse Renee) Knapp, Lacrosse. She was preceded in death by a grandchild, two sisters and her parents.
No services or calling are planned. A private burial will take place.
