Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
The Builders Association of North Central Indiana (BANCI) donated $12,000 to 24 elementary schools throughout Kosciusko, Fulton and Marshall counties through its Care for Kids program.
Each school received $500 to help meet the needs of its students. Checks are presented directly to school nurses, who can use the funds at their discretion to assist children in their school communities, according to a provided news release.
The donations can help provide essentials such as clothing, shoes, hygiene products, school supplies and other items that support students’ well-being and ability to learn.
Care for Kids is funded through two golf outings BANCI hosts each summer. The events bring together association members, local businesses, sponsors and golfers to support children across the three counties BANCI serves.
BANCI thanks the sponsors, golfers, volunteers and members whose generosity makes these contributions possible. The program reflects the association’s commitment to strengthening communities as well as supporting the local building industry, stated the release.
