Bamby Lynn Brumfield Van Dyke, 57, of Warsaw, lost her courageous battle with cancer after 2-1/2 years and went to be with our Lord at 9:45 a.m. Sept. 4, 2010.

She was born March 30, 1953, in Warsaw, to Robert and Margaret "Muggsie" Moon Brumfield. On Oct. 12, 1974, at Presbyterian Church, Warsaw, she married David Van Dyke, who survives.

She was office manager at Re/Max Rainbow Realtors from 2005 to 2008; worked at Lucas Realtors from 1992 to 2005; Warsaw Abstract from 1984 to 1992; and Counting House Bank from 1975 to 1984. She was a lifetime member of Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church and choir. Being a beautiful vocalist, she sang for many family friends' weddings and special occasions. She was loved by all who knew her.

Also surviving are two brothers, Doug Brumfield (and companion Christie Baker) and Tom Brumfield, all of Warsaw; a nephew, Doug Brumfield Jr., Warsaw, and Robert J. Brumfield, Leesburg; two nieces, Debby (and spouse Jeremy) Fisher and Melissa Brumfield, all of Warsaw; and four great-nephews and two great-nieces, all of Warsaw.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church with Bill Burd and Mark Davidson officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
