There is a shelter challenge contest going on right now, and the winning shelter can win $5,000 for their shelter.
Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County qualifies as one of those who can compete for this money.
It needs the support of all citizens and animal lovers who have computers and Internet access.
Each person can enter and vote for the shelter once per day.
The organization sponsoring the contest is “PetFinder” group, through which the shelter find homes for many of its homeless pets.
To vote visit www.animalrescuesite.com, and click on the right hand tab that says “Shelter Challenge.”
Type in: Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County and click on the state Indiana. Click “search” and then click “vote.” The contest ends in September.
