The Animal Welfare League is holding Pet Adopt-a-Thon 2007 Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the AWL. The AWL is located off of U.S. 30 East on 100S behind Tractor Supply and Lake City Honda. The AWL is joining thousands of animal welfare organizations worldwide for this adoption event and will also offer
Events include: K-9 Dog Demonstrations from noon to 1 p.m.; clowns and face painting from 2 to 3 p.m.; training demonstration with prior shelter dogs from 3 to 4 p.m.; and concessions all day.
