Awards Ceremony Held For Boy Scouts Of Troop 715

The annual Spring Awards Ceremony recently was held for members of Boys Scout Troop 715.

Before the awards were handed out, Bill and Jean Bibler, founders of the Bibler Trust, were honored by the troop for their generosity over the years in supporting Troop 715 and Rising Arrow Scout Camp, which hosts the District Cub Scout Day Camp each year.

During the awards ceremony, Will Bibler received his First Class rank, plus two merit badges; Byrston Canada advanced to the rank of Life Scout and earned five merit badges; Joseph Gilbert earned five badges; Nick Hawn received three badges; Dyllan Hernandez became a First Class Scout with four badges; Cameron Ingle got his Second Class Rank and four badges; Dillon King earned the First Class rank and six merit badges; Zachary Laureano received three badges; Colton Lind got three merit badges; Trevor McCloughan earned three badges; Josh Ramey got six badges; CJ Skaggs got four; Wyatt Slone got two; Kole Smith earned six; Jordan Timbers got six; Austin Whitaker received two; and Adam Zawadzkas earned his rank of First Class and seven merit badges.

Receiving the Paul Bunyon Scout Award were Scouts Gilbert, Hawn, Ingle, Laureano, Ramey, Smith and Timbers plus adult leaders Joe Hawn and Scott McClintock.

Life Scouts Nick Hawn, Zachary Laureano, Josh Ramey and Kole Smith have started to work on their Eagle projects.
