Lakes Area Autism Network will present “Training and Education Across the Autism Spectrum for Parents, Professionals and Community” March 10 at Winona Lake Grace Brethren: The Hub. Registration and expo booths open from 9 to 9:30 a.m. From 9:30 to 11 a.m., keynote speaker Dr. Cathy Pratt, Indiana Resource Center for Autism, will speak on “Recommendations for Social and Communication Programming.” Lunch is on attendees’ own and is from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. For the afternoon, participants are asked to choose two sessions. Session A is Dana Leon, lawyer from Rockhill-Pinnick, presenting on guardianship process. Session B is Pratt presenting on behavior related to ASD, and Session C is Marna Pacheo, founder of CapeAble, presenting weighted sensory products. Breakout session one is 12:30 to 1:20 p.m., and session two is 1:30 to 2:20 p.m. The “Parent Panel” is 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., and expo booths close at 4 p.m.
