MILFORD - Robert Garrett Scott, author of "Skeleton of the Plane," will be signing books at the Milford Public Library June 8 at 2 p.m.

A committee has been formed to plan events for the library's 100th birthday. The next meeting will be May 29 at 5 p.m. in the library meeting room.
The first special event for the Summer Reading Clubs, "Get a Clue @ Your Library" and "YNK - You Never Know @ Your Library," will be June 4 at 4 p.m. in the Milford Community Building. It will feature Campfire Kev in "I Spy... "
You may sign up for the Summer Reading Clubs before and after the show. "Get a Clue @ Your Library" club is for birth through students going into the fifth grade. Students going into sixth grade through high school will be in "YNK - You Never Know @ Your Library" Club.
The library long-range planning committee will have a meeting June 7 at 5 p.m. in the library meeting room.
Summer Preschool Story Time will be on Fridays at 10 a.m. starting June 15 through July 20. This year's theme is mysterious forms of transportation. Sign-up will begin June 4. Call 574-658-4312 for more details.
Scrapbooking Club with Mim will be June 11 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the library meeting room. Bring your own supplies.
The Stevens Puppets will be presenting "Sleeping Beauty" at 2 p.m. in the Milford Community Building. This is an event for all Summer Reading Club members.
"GSI at the library" will be June 14 at 2 p.m. in the library meeting. "YNK @ Your Library" club members, bring your friends!
Knitting Club will meet June 14 in the library meeting room. Bring what you are working on and come have a great time at the library.
