Audubon Society Program Meeting

Posted

PIERCETON - The Tippecanoe Audubon Society Program meeting will be April 24 at 7:30 p.m. at the Blue Lion Coffeehouse, Pierceton.

This should be great preparation for the spring migration. Don Gorney, chair of the Indiana Bird Records Committee, will present a program on spring warblers. American wood warblers have been fascinating generations of birders with their songs and colors. Probably no other family of birds has so many fans and admirers in the United States. Indiana birders are fortunate since 36 of the 38 eastern wood warblers pass through or nest in the state each year. Gorney will discuss the most common warblers and discuss tips for finding them and identifying them in the field.
