NORTH MANCHESTER – Audrey L. Thompson, 88, of North Manchester, died at 9:30 p.m. March 14, 2012, in Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester.
She was born Feb. 6, 1924, in Huntington County, to Ralph Edward and Ruth Lambert Kriegbaum. On March 10, 1946, she married Meredith W. Thompson, who died May 23, 1978.
She was a homemaker and graduated from Warren High School. She was a member of United Methodist Church, North Manchester; Order of the Eastern Star, Warren; and Tri-Kappa. She was a loving mother and wife.
Surviving are two sons, Steven L. Thompson, Sunnyvale, Calif., and Charles E. Thompson (and Gina Reel) Thompson, Bloomington; a daughter, Marsha L. (and spouse Ray) Guy, Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by a son and a sister.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Peabody Chapel, 400 W. Seventh St., North Manchester, with the Revs. Sue Babovec and Kevin DeKoninck officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is one hour prior to the service Monday at the Peabody Chapel and after 2:30 p.m. Monday at the cemetery.
