Aubrey R. Hogue
AKRON – Aubrey R. Hogue, 32, of 11889 W. Ind. 25, Mentone, and formerly of Akron, died at 12:45 a.m. April 8, 2011, in IU Medical Center, Indianapolis, after an extended stay in the hospital since March 10.
She was born Aug. 16, 1978, in Rochester. On May 22, 1999, in Gatlinburg, Tenn., she married Steven E. Hogue, who survives.
She was a secretary and a bookkeeper for Hogue Engines. She graduated from Tippecanoe Valley High School in 1997 and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved to go to concerts with her family, seeing many different acts. She loved spending time with her daughters as well as her entire family.
Also surviving are two daughters, Karli and Kiana Hogue, Mentone; her parents, Ron and Sara Kruger, Akron, and Marty Bahney, Warsaw; grandparents, Marsha Taylor, Akron, and David and Marilyn Kruger and Marvin and Carol Bahney, all of Akron; a grandmother-in-law, Marilyn Stafford, Akron; two sisters, Kaela (and spouse Scott) Virgil, Mentone, and Terra Kruger, Akron; her father-in-law, Bruce Hogue, Akron; a sister-in-law, Rhonda Hogue, Culver; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandfather, Dennis Taylor; her mother-in-law, Diana Hogue; and a grandfather-in-law, Dewitt “Bud” Stafford.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Akron Church of God with Pastors Butch Troke and Terry Canfield and the Rev. Mimi Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Akron Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the church.
Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, is in charge of arrangements.
