HUNTINGTON – Wawasee freshman Reagan Atwood finished ninth in the all-around at the Huntington North gymnastics regional Friday. The top six gymnasts advance to the state meet next weekend in Indianapolis. “We know Reagan felt the pressure of representing Wawasee High School in the regional competiton. She did an outstanding job and we are extremely proud of her,” said Wawasee gymnastics coach Nika Prather. Atwood placed eighth on the balance beam with a score of 9.200, and her 9.000 was good enough for ninth place on the vault. Her overall score was 35.025, and was less than two points from the top score.
