Atwood Meth Sale Leads To Multiple ArrestsThree Atwood residents are facing drug charges after allegedly selling a large quantity of methamphetamine.
Shane Andrew Timmons, 31, of 322 E. High St., Atwood, was preliminarily arrested and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail at 6:15 a.m. Dec. 6 for possession of methamphetamine and battery. His bond was set at $50,000 surety and $250 cash.
Court documents filed Monday list the charges against him as dealing in methamphetamine, a level 2 felony; and possession of methamphetamine, a level 3 felony.
Jamie Lee Hecke, 38, same address, was preliminarily arrested at 7:04 a.m. Dec. 6 for maintaining a common nuisance. Her bond was set at $50,000 surety and $250 cash.
Court documents filed Monday list the charges against her as dealing in methamphetamine, a level 2 felony; and possession of methamphetamine, a level 3 felony.
Morgan Rachael Wood, 34, same address, was preliminarily arrested for maintaining a common nuisance, dealing cocaine or a narcotic drug and possession of cocaine or a narcotic drug. Her bond was set at $50,000 surety and $250 cash.
Court documents list the charges against her as dealing in methamphetamine, a level 2 felony; and possession of methamphetamine, a level 3 felony.
On Dec. 5, Warsaw Drug Task Force conducted a controlled purchase of methamphetamine from Wood in Kosciusko County. A confidential informant provided Wood with documented task force funds in exchange for 198.3 grams of methamphetamine. One gram is 0.035274 ounces.
Officers obtained a search warrant for Wood’s residence and searched it. They identified the residence occupants as Hecke and Timmons.
In Hecke and Timmons’ bedroom, officers found 28.9 grams of methamphetamine, scales, small empty plastic bags and a Taurus 9 mmm semi-automatic handgun.
Wood advised Hecke went with her to obtain the 7 ounces of methamphetamine, according to court documents.
