On July 2, Warsaw Police officer Brad Kellar was on Anchorage Road and Sunset Drive in Warsaw when he saw a Mitsubishi driven by Miller. Kellar had prior information that Miller’s Indiana driver’s license was suspended prior and there was a warrant for his arrest, according to court documents.

Miller saw Kellar and allegedly attempted to elude Kellar. Kellar found the vehicle parked and saw Miller and another man flee from it and toward a tire business. An employee of that business told Kellar the two men ran into the warehouse, which is where Kellar apprehended Miller. The other man had run completely through the warehouse and was not found.

Officers searched the area where Miller was located and found a container that had four plastic bags containing a half gram each of methamphetamine. Officers also found an automobile key that fit the Mitsubishi. Attached to the key was a device used to track a cellphone.

Inside the Mitsubishi, officers saw syringes in plain view. During a search of the vehicle, they found more syringes,  including two containing methamphetamine; a cellophane wrapper containing methamphetamine and weighing 14 grams; heroin weighing less than 1 gram; a container holding 1.5 grams of methamphetamine; and a cellphone with a picture of Miller on the screen.

Also found: Two loaded handguns; seven AR 15 clips; digital scales containing methamphetamine; and empty plastic bags.

Miller does not have a permit to carry a handgun, according to the court documents.
