Debra Bacon-Atkinson, Brownsburg, announces the engagement of her daughter, Sarah Marie Atkinson, Brownsburg, to Nathan Andrew Rentschler, Indianapolis. He is the son of Caleen Rentschler, Mentone, and Tom Rentschler, Fulton. She is also the daughter of the late Mark Atkinson.
The bride-to-be is a management training coordinator at Edward Rose Companies, Indianapolis, and an instructor at Ball State University, Muncie. She graduated from Brownsburg High School in 2001; earned a bachelor's degree in residential property management from Ball State University in 2006; and is working on dual master's degree in executive development and adult education at Ball State University, expecting to graduate in 2011.
The groom-elect is a commercial loans underwriter for Indiana Insurance, Indianapolis. He graduated from Tippecanoe Valley High School, Akron, in 1995, and earned a bachelor's degree management from Krannert School of Management, Purdue University, in 1999.
