Several area high schools have scheduled events for student-athletes to have sports physicals for the 2015-16 school year. The following is a list of events in the area. Sports physicals will need to be on file with the school by July 1 to participate in athletic events for the next school year. Students currently in grades 5-11 will need a physical for next year. Warsaw – Physicals will be available from 6-8 p.m. April 20 in the high school Career Center gym. Available to all Warsaw Community School Corporation student-athletes. Triton – The Triton Athletic Department will be hosting our annual athletic physical night from 5:30-7:30 p.m. April 1. The physical night is for Triton students currently in grades 5-11. Manchester – Physicals will be from 5:30-8:30 p.m. April 1 at the Walnut Street Clinic. A parent must be present with the student-athlete. In order to take part in this event, you must have the Athletic Physical packet, which can be picked up at the high school, junior high or imtermediate school during school hours. Pages one and four of the physical form must be filled out prior to arriving at the site. You will not be allowed to enter the site until you have filled out these pages. Please have all other documents in the packet filled out prior to arrival for your physical. Whitko – Sports physicals will be offered at 6:15 p.m. April 7th. Forms are available in the athletic office as well as at www.whitkoathletics.com. Forms will also be available that evening. Students from other schools are welcome. Tippecanoe Valley – Physicals will be offered at the middle school at 7 p.m. April 30. Wawasee – Will offer physicals on May 11. Details have not yet been released. Lakeland Christian – Cougar student-athletes will need to arrange to participate in another school’s physical program. Questions can be directed to an individual school’s athletic department.
