Ascencion R. Brito, 80, of Warsaw, passed away at 9:25 a.m. May 28, 2013, in Mason Health and Rehab, Warsaw. He was born May 3, 1933, in Guerrero, Mexico, to Ascencion Brito and Delfina Roman. In 1955, in Guerrero, he married Guadalupe Delgado, who survives. He was a farmer in Mexico then moved to Warsaw 10 years ago. He was a member of the Catholic faith and enjoyed singing and playing his guitar. Also surviving are five daughters: Socorro and Margarita Brito, both of Pierceton; Maria A. and Cristina Brito, both of Warsaw; and Norma Brito, Decatur, Ala.; five sons: Jose Brito, Goshen; Felix, Francisco and Marcello Brito, all of Pierceton; and Hugo Brito, Warsaw; two brothers; three sisters; 50 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Georgina Acosto. A mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Warsaw, with Father Constantino Rocha officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
