AKRON – On Oct. 13 at 6:30 p.m. in the Akron Community Center, the Akron Area Arts League will present the annual Arts Award to Ann Allen. She is an Akron native who is a journalist, author and creative writer. Entertainer Henry C. Ryder will present Hoosier poet James Whitcomb Riley in first person as he was in the year of 1911.
