Local Artist Jason Rowland attended the meeting of the Sacred Heart Girl Scout Troop 10132 Junior Girl Scouts March 7.
He talked with the girls about the importance of art in the lives of children and encouraged them in their own pursuits of being artists. Jason brought several of his art pieces to show the troop and also gave an explanation and demonstration of his process.
The girls were amazed and inspired by his talent. They are currently pursuing their Drawing Badge.
