PIERCETON - This summer's art fair generated $700 for the Pierceton Community Foundation.
The foundation is community service oriented, providing funds for utility payments to eligible residents or helping a family whose house was destroyed by fire.
The July 23 art fair was sponsored by the Pierceton Community Association. Plans are to have the event again July 22 in Brower Park.
At a meeting Thursday, it was noted the foundation has been without funds for the last few years.
