‘Art In the Park’ and ‘Play It Safe Family Safety Day’ collided Saturday at Center Lake.
Sponsored by the Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club, Art In the Park activities were directed by the Warsaw Community High School Art Department, and run by student volunteers.
The art activities included drawing portraits, face painting, jewelry making and more. Play It Safe featured safety activities by organizations like the Warsaw Police and Fire Departments and Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
In the pavilion, there were booths from Victim Services, Beaman Home, American Red Cross and others. Businesses like Bob Evans and McDonald’s also had activities and booths on hand.
