Arneal C. Gunter

MILFORD – Arneal C. Gunter, 96, Leesburg, went to be with the Lord Dec. 30, 2014, at Mason Healthcare, Warsaw. She was born July 18, 1918, in Milford, to Pardee and Grace Ringgenberg Warstler. On July 18, 1936, she married Edward “Ted” Gunter, who preceded her in death Nov. 27, 2009. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and she loved spending time with her family. She was a homemaker, and worked part time as a clerk at the Leesburg Post Office. She loved the Lord and faithfully attended the Leesburg Grace Brethren Church, where she was one of the founding members. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband to their summer home in Marcellus, Mich. She is survived by a son, Pardee (and spouse Toshiko) Gunter, Leesburg; a daughter, Shelba (and spouse Sam) Cooper, Leesburg; five grandchildren: Tina, Vondria, Joshua, Eddie and Tai; and 16 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Tonya Underhill; two brothers, Johnny and Myron Warstler; and two sisters, Opal Smith and Dorothy Bullock.
