Friday at about 8:21 a.m., Kosciusko County's dispatch center received an emergency call from Low Bob's Tobacco, 702 N. Detroit St., Warsaw. A female employee reported they were just robbed at gunpoint.
According to the Warsaw Police Department, two black males entered the store, one wearing a dark sock hat with a white cloth covering his face and the other wearing a dark hooded pullover with a dark cloth covering his face. Both were wearing heavy winter-type jackets, baggy sweat pants and multi-colored Nike shoes.
One suspect had a dark-colored handgun and ordered two female employees to lie on the floor. One suspect took one employee to the office where the safe was opened and an unknown amount of money taken. The employees then were ordered to lie on the office floor while the suspects fled on foot.
Suspects were described as being less than 6-foot tall, black males and possibly headed southeast to the Zimmer parking lot on Arthur Street. Suspects may have left in a blue Chevy Malibu or Impala. The direction of travel was unknown.
