Armed Robbers Hit Tobacco Store

For the second time in less than a year, Low Bob's Tobacco in Warsaw was robbed.

At 3:48 p.m. Sunday, police responded to an armed robbery call at Low Bob's, 702 N. Detroit St.

According to police, two men walked into the store, held a female cashier at gunpoint, and stole an undisclosed amount of money from the register.

The two subjects then fled east on foot on Lyon Street, then on to Park Avenue. Warsaw Police followed tracks to Park Avenue, but the tracks were lost.

No description of the two suspects was available from Warsaw Police as of this morning.

This is the second time the Detroit Street Low Bob's has been robbed since March 2007.

On March 16, 2007, two subjects robbed the store and took money from the register and safe of the business.

Two men from Elkhart County were later arrested in connection with that and a series of other robberies around Northern Indiana.
