ETNA GREEN - Armed robbers allegedly made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from an Etna Green mini mart Tuesday night.
The three suspects also reportedly took a display of cigarettes from the counter when they fled the Freedom Express on State Street at Ind. 19.
A witness provided descriptions of the robbery suspects, each of whom reportedly was armed with a large knife. No injuries were reported.
The suspects are all described as being about 6 feet tall and of slim build. All three were wearing black masks and black hooded sweatshirts.
The alleged robbers entered the business about 9:30 p.m. and demanded money from the lone female employee inside, police said.
The three then fled on foot in a northeasterly direction. The Winona Lake Police Department K-9 was brought in to track the suspects, but lost the scent a short distance to the east.
Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to call the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department at 267-5667.
