AKRON – Arlene Lytle, 89, of 13252 E. Ind. 114, Akron, died at 9:47 p.m. May 31, 2013, in Mason Health and Rehab, Warsaw.
She was born Feb. 23, 1924, in Akron, to Wayne and Alta Krieg Alexander. On March 29, 1947, in Silver Lake, in her parent’s residence, she married Vance Lytle, who survives.
She was a homemaker and a Burket High School graduate. She was active in the Akron Church of God, singing trios and solos as well as teaching Sunday school. She participated in many things such as directing community Bible schools, attending many activities at Yellow Creek Church of God Camp Ground and also was a Gray Lady at Woodlawn Hospital,   Rochester.
Also surviving are twin daughters, Sheryl (and spouse  Walter) Ruegner, Warsaw, and Sharon (and spouse Terry)  Tomlinson, Mansfield, Ohio; a son, Randall (and spouse Carol) Lytle, Union, W.Va.; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a sister, Betty Doub, Silver Lake.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Akron Church of God with Pastor Terry Canfield officiating. Burial will be in Akron Cemetery.
Calling is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hartzler Funeral Home, 305 W. Rochester St., Akron.
