The Argonne Road, Center and Parker streets realignment and reconstruction project is close to completion.
Weather permitting, the final asphalt top coat will be laid next Tuesday and Wednesday during daytime hours.
It is planned that on Tuesday the top coat for Center Street will be laid.
Center Street traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
Argonne Road will be closed south of Center Street at Market Street.
Parker Street will be closed north of Center Street at Main Street.
During this time, left turns from Center Street onto Argonne Road or Parker Street will not be permitted.
On Wednesday, the top coat for both Argonne Road and Parker Street will be laid. Argonne Road and Parker Street traffic should expect temporary lane closures and delays as the asphalt is laid.
The city requests that motorists avoid this area, if possible.
Once the asphalt is complete, motorist may still encounter temporary lane closures as lane markings and signal sensors are installed.
