LMS Athletics Golf Outing Saturday

Players and sponsors are sought for the  Lakeview Middle School Athletic Department Golf Scramble Saturday at Stonehenge Golf Club. The tournament will raise funds for new uniforms and equipment at the school.

The cost is $300 per team, with lunch and registration at 12:30 p.m. and golf beginning at 2 p.m. Hole sponsorships are available for $125.

First “Bre’s Run” July 8

BOURBON – “Bre’s Run,” an event to raise money for the Breanna S. Lemler Memorial Scholarship, will be held at 7:30 a.m. July 8 at Triton Junior/Senior High School in Bourbon. Lemler was a Triton alum and a Purdue student when she was killed in a car accident July 10, 2016.

There will be a mini-marathon ($40), a 5K race ($30) and a Fun Run ($20). Registration can be completed online at  www.runsignup.com/Race/IN/Bourbon/BresRun or on the day of the races.

I.U. Alumni Golf Outing June 26

LEESBURG – The Kosciusko County Chapter of the Indiana University Alumni Association will host its annual golf outing June 26 at Tippecanoe Lake Country Club, 7245 N. Kalorama Rd., Leesburg. Registration begins at 10 a.m., with a lunch buffet at 11:15.

The guest speaker for this year’s event is I.U. assistant athletic director for alumni relations Mark Deal, who will take the microphone at 12:15 p.m. The shotgun start is at 1:30 and prizes will be awarded at 5:45.

Warrior Open July 10

SYRACUSE – The 23rd annual Warrior Open, a fundraiser for the athletic department at Wawasee High School, will be held July 10 at South Shore Golf Club.

There will be morning and afternoon flights, and a contest package that includes a chance to win a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu from McCormick Motors, a 2017 Sea-Doo Spark personal watercraft from Main Channel Marina, $10,000 cash from Northern Lakes Insurance and other prizes.

Homes 4 Haiti Golf Event July 15

NORTH MANCHESTER – The Homes 4 Haiti Golf Event will be held July 15 at Sycamore Golf Club. The scramble will begin with registration at 7 a.m. and a shotgun start at 8 a.m.

The cost is $260 per team. Several contests will be held, including a chance to win a $1 million for a hole-in-one. Prizes will be given for first and second place, longest drive and longest putt.

LCA To Host Basketball Camps

WINONA LAKE – Lakeland Christian Academy will host basketball camps in two sessions from July 10-13 at the school, 1093 S. CR 250E, Winona Lake.

Students in kindergarten through third grade this fall will be from 9-11 a.m., and grades 4-8 will be from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. The cost is $50 and includes a T-shirt. Registrations are due by June 30.

Warsaw Camp Registration Open

Registrations are being accepted for Warsaw football, track and soccer summer camps. All the camps are for students entering grades 4-8 this fall.

Soccer camp runs from 6-8:30 p.m. June 26-30 and costs $75. The football and track camps run from 5-6:30 p.m. July 10-13 and cost $25.
