SYRACUSE – Arden Baker, 57, of Syracuse, passed away Jan. 28, 2013, in his residence. He was born Nov. 15, 1955, in Huntington, to Joe and Mae Baker. He was a Syracuse resident since 1998, coming from California. He was an independent truck driver, mechanic, logger and an overall handyman. He attended Millersburg Church of Christ. Surviving are a son, Mark (and spouse Missy) Baker, Cromwell; a daughter, Lola Mae Baker, Syracuse; a brother, Bill Baker; and a sister, Sarah Baker. He was preceded in death by a grandson and his parents. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Eastlund Funeral Home, 7458 E. CR 1000N, Syracuse, with Pastor David Main officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, North Manchester. Calling is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
