I was surprised, appalled and dismayed over your article in News Views. Mr. Obama is the incoming president of all of us.
The times and issues are too dangerous and fragile to add extraneous issues to the mix. I cannot fathom the logic behind the ranting, which should have been done before the election.
The headlines in an area newspaper stated that President Bush (who is not known for flexibility - my observation) and his entire White House staff are tirelessly working so that the transition, which is unprecedented in the midst of war on two fronts plus a collaping economy, procedes seeminglessly.
Can we as members of the body politic do anything less?
