NAPPANEE - Antonia Juarez, 81, of 22977 CR 50, New Paris, died at 6:15 p.m. March 30, 2010, in her residence, after an extended illness.
She was born Jan. 22, 1929, in Crystal City, Texas, to Guadelupe and Pilar Vasquez Avaloz. On April 20, 1953, in Columbia City, she married Juan Juarez, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters; five sons; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Jesse (and spouse Joyce) Avaloz, Leesburg, and Pete Avaloz, Milford. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Dominic Catholic Church, Bremen, with Father William Kummer officiating. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery.
Calling is from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.
