Annabelle Slone, 82, of Warsaw, passed away at 3:30 a.m. Sept. 16, 2011, in her residence. She was born Sept. 13, 1929, in Martin, Ky., to Ollie and Mollie Goodman Robinson. On Aug. 8, 1946, in Floyd County, Ky., she married Lamon Slone, who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and moved to the Warsaw area in 1952. Surviving are a son Randy (and spouse Jessie) Slone, Warsaw; brothers, Claude (and spouse Mary) Robinson, Sidney, and Lonnie (and spouse Carolyn) Robinson, James (and spouse Tommie) Robinson and Ricky (spouse Pat) Robinson, all of Martin, Ky.; sisters: Willa Slone, Warsaw; Lisa Castle, Martin, Ky.; and Dolly Robinson, Florida; grandchildren, Kyle Slone, Canton, Ga., and Aaron Slone and Rachel Truex, both of Warsaw; and six great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a son, Evert Slone; a grandson, Scott Slone; four brothers; and three sisters. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with Pastor Carl Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
