SYRACUSE – Annabelle Bieghler, 82, Cromwell, passed away Feb. 17, 2014, in I.U. Health Goshen Hospital.
She was born March 7, 1931, in Huntington County, to Herbert and Hazel Lee. In 1952 she married Richard Bieghler, who died in 2012.
As a teenager in the 1940s, she was a carhop at Johnny’s Drive-In, Huntington. She enjoyed watching Notre Dame football, I.U. football and basketball and Chicago Cubs baseball. She was a natural at painting portraits and landscapes. She loved her boxer dogs.
Surviving are a daughter, Cynthia (and spouse Bob) Baugher, Cromwell; a granddaughter, Jordan (and spouse Ryan) Johnson; two great-grandchildren, Connor and Mattie. She also was preceded in death by three brothers: Bob, Devon and Earl; and two sisters, Betty and Helen.
Services will be at noon Friday at Eastlund Funeral Home with Brad Cox of Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating. Burial is in South Whitely Cemetery.
