Anna Powers, age 89, of Warsaw, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022, in Miller’s Merry Manor of Warsaw.

She was born on Nov. 10, 1932, to John Mullins and Bessie Hunt in Terre Haute. She married David Beryl Powers, who preceded her in death on Dec. 3, 2021, at 95 years old.  

She had two sons: Richard David and Robert Allen.  Robert, her youngest son, passed away on Dec. 23, 1994, at the age of 42. Her eldest son, Richard, and his wife, Keiko Ichikawa, of Niigata, Japan, have two children, David Naoki and Richard Kenji.  

Anna was a loving and caring wife who spent most of her time looking after and caring for her husband and their small dog Buddy. She was a member of New Beginnings Church of Atwood. She loved to watch television, do crossword puzzles, word games and read the latest gossip from the National Enquirer or other similar magazines.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 28 at 10 a.m. in Etna Green Cemetery, 10305 W. 300 N. (High Street), Etna Green, with Pastor Denny Bollenbacher presiding.
