Anna Mae Lynch, 91, of Warsaw, and formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away at 6:45 a.m. June 27, 2013, in Mason Health and Rehab, Warsaw. She was born June 24, 1922, in Hartford, Ky., to John Henderson and Mary Clyde Bristow Mahaney. On Aug. 24, 1946, in Owensboro, Ky., she married Jesse R. Lynch, who preceded her in death Jan. 15, 1983. Moving to Warsaw from Fort Wayne in 1976, she was a homemaker and member of First Christian Church, Warsaw, where she helped in the nursery. She loved children, was a member of the Care Bears Ministry, a child care provider in her home, and also enjoyed crossword puzzles and sewing. Surviving are a son, Gary Lynch, Owensboro; two daughters, Judith (and spouse Jeff) Detamore, Garrett, and Janice (and spouse Charles) Cole, North Webster; a sister, Jean Cooper Seymour, Concord, Calif.; three grandchildren, Rebecca Cole, Jaclyn (and spouse Wes) Jakacki, and Jarod Detamore; two sisters-in-law, Bonnie (and spouse Paul) Hancock, and Jean Midkiff, all of Owensboro; and a brother-in-law, Paul Puckett, Owensboro. She also was preceded in death by her parents; a son, William Mahaney, who died Feb. 27, 2008; two sisters, Mary Belle Bryant and Lucille Bell; and four brothers, James, John and William Mahaney and Ben Hines. Services will be at 3 p.m. July 7 at First Christian Church, Warsaw, with Pastor Gary Boschain officiating. Burial will be in Rosehill-Elmwood Cemetery, Owensboro.
