BOURBON - Anna M. Young, 82, of 10570 Oriole Lane, Plymouth, died at 12:20 a.m. Jan. 5, 2009, in her residence.
She was born Oct. 21, 1926, in Burket, to Sam and Treva Tucker Secor. On July 24, 1970, she married Howard Young, who survives.
She was a resident of Bourbon from 1970 until moving to Plymouth in 1989. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of Bourbon American Legion Auxiliary.
Also surviving are her children: Connie Jean (and spouse Randy) Miller, Claypool; James (and spouse Marge) Hawn, Goshen; her stepchildren: Jeri (and spouse Robert) Chenoweth, Lawrenceburg, Ky.; Michael Young, Tippecanoe; Sam (and spouse Sue) Young, Inver Grove Heights, Minn.; and Laurie Keenan, Bourbon; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Babcock, Warsaw, and Doris Cox, Noblesville; and a brother, David Secor, Cascade, Md. She was preceded in death by a brother.
No services or calling are planned at this time. A memorial service will be at a later date with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bourbon.
