Anna Linn, a longtime resident of Warsaw, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020, just after 11 a.m. at Miller’s Merry Manor in Warsaw. Nearing her 100th birthday, she was 99 years old.

Anna was born on Aug. 17, 1920, in Mishawaka. She was the daughter of Edmond Dosmann and Rosella Sellers Dosmann and attended Mishawaka High School. She would eventually make her home in Warsaw after marrying Clyde Linn on Sept. 14, 1939. She would share nearly 50 years with Clyde before his 1986 passing.

Anna was a kind, caring person and a hard worker. She was a longtime member of the Thrifty-Fifth Home Ec. Club, was very active with the Kosciusko County Election Board and was a longtime attendee of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, where she was also very active with church events.

Anna was a skilled seamstress who enjoyed sewing, crochet and embroidery. Most of all, she enjoyed time spent with her family, especially holidays and family meals.

Those who survive with memories to cherish include her daughter, Mary (husband Ron) Gates, of Warsaw; and grandson, Kevin (wife Regina) Gates, of Warsaw. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. In addiction to her husband, Clyde Linn, Anna was preceded in passing by her parents and her brother, Fritz Dosmann.

Friends may join family for a time of visitation on Tuesday, June 9 at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw, from 10 to 11 a.m. Beginning at 11 o’clock, family friend, Pastor Bryan Koorey, will officiate Anna’s funeral ceremony. Burial will follow in Warsaw’s Oakwood Cemetery, where Anna will be laid to rest with Clyde.
