Anna B. Menzie, 100, formerly of Clunette, passed away at 3:39 a.m. Nov. 16, 2012, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw. She was born Dec. 18, 1911, in Goshen, to Dallas and Amanda Hostetler Cripe. On Feb. 23, 1930, in Pierceton, she married Ralph R. Menzie, who died Oct. 19, 1965. A resident of Kosciusko County since 1930, she retired from Jomac Inc. in 1977, after 28 years of service. She was a member of Warsaw Senior Citizens Club and Atwood Senior Greyhounds. Surviving are a son, Larry (and spouse Jeannine) Menzie, Dale City, Va.; two grandchildren, Larry Sr. and Sandy; three great-grandchildren; a great-great- grandchild; and two sisters, Maude Niece, California, and Ruth Hoover, Goshen. She also was preceded in death by a son, Jerry L. Menzie, who died Jan. 9, 2005; three brothers; three sisters; and her parents. A service will be at noon Tuesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Douglas Fritzel officiating. Burial will be private at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
