MARTIN, Ky. - Ann Allen Gibson, 83, Prestonsburg, Ky., died April 24, 2008, at Highlands Regional Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 29, 1924, in West Prestonsburg, Ky., to Rolland Allen and Georgia Allen Harmon. She married James Gibson, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, including Ronald T. (and spouse Helen) Hall, Pierceton; two stepsons, including Mike Gibson, North Webster; three stepdaughters, including Rhoda Wright, North Webster; 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, three stepsons, four brothers and two sisters.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Faith Independent Freewill Baptist Church, with Clinton Buddy Jones and Donnie Patrick officiating. Burial will be at Mayo Cemetery, Prestonsburg.
Calling is until time of services at the church.
